Terms of Service

By placing an order, making a payment, or ticking "I have read and agree to these Terms" on our order or revision form, you ("the Client", "you") agree to everything below. Please read it before you order — these terms are what keep the price low and the process fast.

1. What you get

• Static website — Rs 5,000 one-time. Hosting is free for the life of the site.
• E-commerce website — Rs 5,000 one-time + Rs 1,000 / month for hosting.
• Professional email (optional add-on) — Rs 250 / month.
• All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT is charged on top where applicable.
• Each build includes up to 10 revisions on your first design (see §2).
• Sites are deployed in 1 day — but only once your requirements and content are clear and complete (see §3).

2. Revisions

• Your first design includes up to 10 revisions. A "revision" means one round of consolidated change requests — please gather your changes and send them together. Sending changes one at a time uses up your revisions faster.
• Revisions must be reasonable and within the original scope and brief. We may decline or separately quote requests that are unreasonable, out of scope, or amount to a new design or added features — a revision is a refinement of the agreed work, not an unlimited redesign.
• Once the first design is approved by you and the site is deployed, that design is considered final.
• Any changes after the first deployment are handled through a revision package: Rs 1,000 for 5 revisions. Larger changes may be quoted separately based on the size of the work.
• Approving a design in writing (email, message, or form) counts as approval. After approval, further design changes fall under the revision package above.

3. Content is provided by you

• You provide all content — text/copy, product descriptions, images, logos, and any other material. We do not write copy or source/create photographs.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us (you own it or are licensed to use it). You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.
• Your first draft only begins once the required content is received. Delays in providing content do not shorten our delivery obligations or entitle you to a refund.

4. You manage your own content (CMS)

• E-commerce sites come with a WordPress dashboard. All product creation, editing, pricing, stock, and ongoing content management is done by you.
• We set up the store and the dashboard; we do not perform data entry, product uploads, or day-to-day content updates. Training or done-for-you content work, if you want it, is a separate paid service.

5. Hosting, ownership & what transfers

• We provide the hosting. Your site runs on our infrastructure.
• The website remains our property. This includes the design, source code, configuration, and hosting setup. This is part of how we keep prices low — ownership of the build is not transferred to you, and we do not hand over source code or export the site for self-hosting elsewhere.
• What you get is the right to use your live website for your business while your account is active and (for plans with a monthly fee) paid up to date.
• Your own content and your own domain name remain yours. You can point your domain elsewhere at any time.

6. Domains

• Free subdomain option. If you don't want to pay for a domain, we can host your site on a free subdomain of ours — for example yourname.sandbox.com.np — at no extra cost. This subdomain belongs to us and stays with us; you use it while your account is active. You can upgrade to your own domain at any time.
• Your own domain. A custom domain name (e.g. yourbusiness.com or .com.np) is extra and is not included in any plan. Bring your own, or buy one through us — either way, domain payment is required in advance.

7. Payment, suspension & no refunds

• How payment works:
  • First draft is free. Place your order and share your requirements, and we prepare a first draft at no charge.
  • 50% to continue. To move past the first draft — revisions and completing the build — 50% of the fee is due.
  • Balance when live. The remaining 50% is due once your site is live.
• Monthly fees (e-commerce hosting, email) are billed monthly in advance.
• Non-payment means immediate suspension. If a monthly fee is not paid on the due date, we may suspend the site immediately and without further notice. Suspended sites go offline until the outstanding amount is paid.
• Prolonged non-payment may result in the site being taken down permanently.
• No refunds. All payments — the 50% build fee, the balance, monthly fees, revision packages, and domain charges — are non-refundable, including if you change your mind, cancel, or are suspended for non-payment.

8. Pricing can change

• Monthly pricing (hosting, email) may change over time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to a recurring price. Continuing to use the service after the notice period means you accept the new price. If you don't accept it, you may cancel before it takes effect.
• One-time build prices are fixed for your current order once agreed.

9. Communication & meetings

• Our default channel is written and asynchronous — email or Instagram messages. This is included and free. Keep briefs clear and in writing; it's what makes 1-day delivery possible.
• Online meetings / calls are charged extra and must be booked in advance. We'll quote the rate before any call.

10. If you go quiet

• If we don't hear back from you for 14 days during an active project (for example, we're waiting on your content, feedback, or approval), the project is paused.
• A paused project can be resumed, but we may need to re-book you into our schedule, and a restart fee may apply for long pauses.

11. Credit & promotion

• Credit line. Your website will carry a small "Created by cheapwebsites.np" credit, linking to cheapwebsites.np, in the footer. You agree to keep this credit in place. Removing it is available as a paid option — just ask.
• Portfolio & marketing use. You grant us permission to feature your finished website — screenshots, the live link, and short screen recordings of it — in our portfolio and marketing, including on Instagram (@cheapwebsites.np), our own website, and other channels. We only ever show the public-facing site — never your dashboard, customer data, orders, or any private information.

12. Liability

• We build and host your site with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service, specific search rankings, sales, or business results.
• We are not liable for your content, for third-party services (payment gateways, domain registrars, plugins), or for losses beyond the amount you paid us for the service in question.

13. Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Transaction Act, 2063 (2008), under which your electronic agreement to these terms is valid and binding.
